My name is Meg Saalfrank
I’m a visual creator with experience in photography, graphic design, social media management, and video production. My work spans athletics, weddings, portraits, nonprofit outreach, and commercial media.

Artist Statement
My work in photography and videography is centered on the ways images, both still and moving, capture moments of truth, emotion, and connection. I am drawn to the interplay between time and perspective: how a single photograph can freeze an instant, while video allows me to expand on that moment and explore the layers of narrative that exist within it. By working in both mediums, I aim to create visual stories that are immersive and honest, whether through a single frame or through motion.

In photography, I focus on composition, light, and texture to highlight overlooked details that reveal deeper meaning. My videography extends these ideas by incorporating pacing, sound, and movement to shape an emotional rhythm for the viewer. Together, these practices allow me to explore the tension between stillness and motion, silence and sound, presence, and memory.

My creative process often begins with observation, watching how people interact with spaces, environments, or each other. From there, I experiment with both photographic series and short video projects that work in conversation with one another. This process has taught me that each medium offers unique strengths, but it is in their overlap that I find my strongest voice.
Collaborations
I’ve photographed the IU Kokomo volleyball team, capturing action shots and promotional images used across their platforms. I also collaborate with the Kokomo Humane Society, where I designed graphics, manage their social media presence, and help support their adoption and community programs through engaging visual content.
In addition, I’ve produced a commercial-style promotional video for the Esteves Group, showcasing their brand through clean, professional storytelling.
Across every project, I focus on creating visuals that are impactful, authentic, and tailored to the needs of each organization.​​
